BMW 5-Series Touring Model Just Won't Die
It’s puzzling for many to understand the reason why despite having a range of ‘X’ vehicles of varying sizes (X1,X3,X5,X6) and with giants such as the 5-Series GT, BMW is still trying to keep the 5-Series Touring alive.
Failing to figure out a significant reason leads one to believe that BMW may soon plan to phase out the 5 Series Touring estate wagon.
On the other hand, the possibility of no such plan is also strong as the wagon variant of BMW’s latest F10 5-Series will make its world debut at the Auto Mobil International (AMI) Show in Leipzig, Germany in April. the reason for launching this vehicle in Germany is due to the country’s having the highest number of sales of 5er Touring in the world. in addition to that, BMW has another relation with the city as it has a manufacturing plant there where the 1- Series and the latest X1 are built. therefore, AMI will also see the domestic debuts for the F10 Sedan, facelifted X5 and and upgraded 3–Series Convertible.
